Barry Hunter started his career in the secondary metals industry in 1960 after his graduation from Indiana University, entering his family small scrap business in New Jersey. In 1972 Mr. Hunter joined the Schiavone-Bonomo Corporation, where he began focusing on international trade as Vice-President of their newly formed Stainless and Alloy Division. From 1987 and for 15 years he continued to develop his international expertise as Senior Vice-President of the then Baltimore based S.G. Keywell Co. In July 2003, together with Derek Benham, he formed Hunter-BenMet Assoc. LLC to deal with supplies of both secondary and primary raw materials, with a major focus on stainless and Nickel. In March 2007, Mr. Hunter began operations of his own trading company, Hunter Alloys LLC.
