Bill Moore is president of Moore & Associates, an international consulting firm that provides a range of strategic services and research to global organizations active in recycling and sustainability. Bill’s career as an environmental professional spans almost 40 years. His knowledge base includes all aspects of supply and demand for recovered paper on a global basis.
Prior to establishing his consulting firm, Bill held a series of positions in the chemical, solid waste, paper, and recycling industries. Bill was the founder and Vice President of Paper Recycling International, a joint venture of Stone Container. As Director of Recycling for Waste Management, Inc., Bill was responsible for the startup of the “Recycle America” program, the largest introduction of recycling services in the United States. Earlier in his career, Bill was a hazardous waste expert and at the forefront of US manufacturing’s move to maximize waste reduction through process optimization.
Bill is a sought after speaker on subjects relating to recycling, sustainability, and the business side of environmental affairs. He has frequently published in the field and has authored more than 50 articles over the past 25 years. Bill graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology in NJ.
