Stan Chen is CEO of RecycleGO Inc., a technology and service provider that offers innovative solutions for the recycling and hauling industry. An eco-entrepreneur, Stan’s passion for sustainability along with 20+ years of experience in the recycling industry has provided the knowledge needed to design and develop RecycleGO.
A second-generation recycler of Taiwanese descent, Stan is part of a family-owned scrap metal business that has been operating in China since the mid-80’s. He has a thorough knowledge of both ferrous and non-ferrous metal recycling, as well as overseas markets. Stan understands recyclable material as a renewable resource as well as a commodity. He believes integrity and profit goes hand-in-hand, and prioritizes mutually-beneficial partnerships throughout the procurement and vending process.
Stan is also President of United Metal Recycling located in Irvington, New Jersey USA. UMR is a full-service, Class A permitted recycling facility that handles all grades of ferrous and non-ferrous material, with a state-of-the-art wire chopper. Having experienced the shift from decades of international trade, Stan is dedicated to pioneering the ever-innovative solutions for the recycling industry, the economy and the environment.
Stan holds an ALM in Information Technology from Harvard University and a BA in Medical Science from Boston University.
